Stone Grissom

Stone Grissom, assistant adjunct professor in the professional communications department and anchor at News12 Long Island, has just published his first novel, a legal thriller titled A Cry for Justice. The book centers around civil attorney Gavin Brady, who uncovers a conspiracy that led to a murderer escaping punishment. The official publication date is July 20.

The good reviews have been pouring in: “A must-read for anyone who enjoys lots of twists and turns on the way to a brilliant conclusion;” “Move over John Grisham;” “A skillfully crafted thriller;” and “Grissom is poised to be well on his way to rival giants in the genre.”

Grissom is an Edward R. Murrow-winning journalist, and boasts a distinguished background as a civil rights and criminal defense attorney. He has appeared as a legal analyst on numerous news programs. His second book, Bonds of Friendship, is in the works.
