Kudos to the Nursing Program – One of the Best in NYS

RegisteredNursing.org has announced that Farmingdale’s
nursing program has been ranked #14 among all RN programs in the state. Nursing programs were assessed on several factors, which represent how well a program supports students towards licensure and beyond.

Said Dr. Kathy Cino, nursing department chair: “I am very grateful for this distinction. It’s a great honor to be ranked along with other fine programs in nursing throughout New York State.

“At Farmingdale, nursing faculty and staff live a commitment to excellence in education. Our success is based on a curriculum grounded in professional standards and guidelines, enhanced practice partnerships with hospitals and community agencies, and healthcare technology-enhanced learning in our laboratory. It doesn’t hurt that we have the best and the brightest students on Long island and we are very proud of their accomplishments.”
