Hey, seniors – avoid the rush for Commencement tickets by making your way to the Campus Center Ballroom Wednesday, 5/3, and Thursday, 5/4, for the Senior Commencement Fair.  Hours to pick up tickets are the same for both days: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Bring your student ID or another photo ID.

Jessica Rubio, a junior Professional Communications major, has a dream, and that’s to start a student newspaper.

She knows it will take a few like-minded students to help staff it, finding a course in which it can be included as a requirement, and getting a sign off by the president’s office. She will be working with the RAM program to help bring it all to pass.

Jessica’s dream was birthed at a recent New York Times workshop for student newspaper editors.

The National Association of Basketball Coaches has named Steve Raisfeld, FSC’s assistant basketball coach, an Under Armour 30-under-30 honoree, recognizing him as an up-and-coming young coach in men’s college basketball.

Coach Raisfeld has spent two seasons with the Rams, helping the team to a 34-21 record overall, 28-8 in Skyline play, and a 2016-17 Conference Title – the Rams’ first since 2009. His duties include overseeing opponents scouting, film exchange, recruiting, monitoring academic progress of the student-athletes,
