Countdown to Inauguration

President Nader

Friday, 3/31, 11 a.m. (Please be seated by 10:30 a.m.)  Nold Athletic Complex

The inauguration of President Nader is nearly upon us. For those of who plan to process, regalia is ready for pickup at the Campus Center bookstore. Hours are Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. After the ceremony, faculty and staff should return regalia to Nold 102.

To help get you in the mood for the ceremony, FSC has planned several special events this week.  They include:

  • Tuesday, 3/28, 11:00 a.m.     Gleeson 102
    Steven Kess, Vice President of Global Professional Relations for Henry Schein, Inc. and co-founder of Henry Schein Cares, will give a talk on “Doing Well by Doing Good.”
  • Tuesday, 3/28, 11:00 a.m.   Campus Center Ballroom C
    This School of Business Research Colloquium features Professor Thomas Germano discussing his studio practice, and a body of work in the mediums of drawing, painting, and watercolor.
  • Thursday, March 30, 11:00 a.m.    Roosevelt Hall Little Theater
    Pollster/author John Zogby will explore America’s “First Globals” – Americans born between 1979 and 1993 who are networked worldwide; who monitor global sports, fashion, and music; who, out of any age group, are the least likely to think American culture is superior to any other culture; and who are most reluctant to go to war against people who listen to their music and dress like them.
  • Thursday, March 30, 6:00 p.m.   Crest Hollow Country Club
    Alumni Awards Dinner honoring George LaRosa, Senior VP, Dr. Richard Iversen, Professor of Horticulture, and CFO and Joe Egan, President of the Alumni Association, among others. Click here for more information.
