All-Star Pollster John Zogby Talks Millennials During Inauguration Week

John Zogby – presidential elections pollster, opinion leader, political pundit, columnist and best-selling author – will be talking up the power and potential of Millennials at his Inauguration Week lecture, “Our First Global Citizens: Unleashing the Potential of Our Millennials.”

The talk, based on his book First Globals: Understanding, Managing, and Unleashing Our Millennial Generation, will be held Thursday, March 30, at 11 a.m. in the Roosevelt Hall Little Theater.

“First Globals” will offer an analysis of why Americans born between 1979 and 1994 are more globally aware and sensitive, how they want to make their workplace and planet a better place, and how we begin to understand them and position them better to play out their destiny.

Zogby is founder and senior partner at John Zogby Strategies, a strategic visioning firm specializing in preparing companies and agencies for the coming wave of dynamic changes.  His latest book, We Are Many, We Are One: Neo-Tribes and Tribal Analytics in 21st Century America, is an exploration of the American people from the vantage point of their attributes and values, not demographics or geography.

Before going into polling, Zogby taught history and political science for 24 years.  He has been awarded three doctorates, including one from SUNY in 2005.
