A Career at Canon U.S.A.?

If you missed Canon Day last week, it’s still not too late to be thinking about a career or internship at one of Long Island’s premier companies.

Known internationally for its consumer, business-to-business, and industrial imaging solutions, Canon is always on the hunt for bright, young talent.  That’s why the company sent a recruiting team to FSC. Not only that, but the door is still open for those looking to work at one of Fortune magazine’s World’s Most Admired Companies in 2016. There are two pathways still open to you, but you must act quickly.

  • Canon Invite-Only Open House: There are current and potential openings in areas such as marketing, account relations, software programming, legal, public relations and more. To be considered, you must submit your resume by Tuesday, March 28, for an opportunity to be invited to the April 5 Open House at Canon’s Melville headquarters.
  • Insights Summer Internship: The program – designed mainly for juniors and seniors – runs for 10 weeks, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. during the summer. For more

If you want to know more about Canon, you can do that too.  Contact the FSC Career Center to arrange a two-hour group Corporate Showroom tour. It’s both a hands-on experience and a chance to learn about corporate strategy, and career and internship opportunities.

“Farmingdale couldn’t ask for a better corporate friend than Canon,” says President Nader. “Bringing a world-class company onto the campus of SUNY’s largest college of technology is a win-win for everyone involved.  Canon will find highly trained and motivated students, our students will work for one of the most sophisticated technology companies in the world, and Farmingdale will burnish its track record as a breeding ground of skilled talent for Long Island business and industry.”
