Become an FSC “Brand Ambassador”

Farmingdale State College. You know it as SUNY’s
largest college of technology. What you may not know is that it’s a brand too.

And it’s a brand that needs to be promoted properly, so the Office for Institutional Advancement – which is responsible for all of FSC’s communications, advertising and marketing efforts – is offering a four-session certificate program for faculty and staff who want the inside scoop on how FSC brands itself.  Why is that important for you to know? Because what you’ll learn will help you get the most out of your promotional efforts.

The Brand Ambassador Program empowers you and your department by providing tools and best practices to help you accomplish your goals while maintaining the integrity of the brand across campus.

You must complete all four sessions, in any order and at any time, to earn certification as a Brand Ambassador.

The four one-hour sessions, held in Campus Center Meeting Room A, are as follows:

  1. Marketing & Branding 101 (beginning 3/14)
  2. Media Prep Training (beginning 3/28)
  3. Web & Web Writing (beginning 4/11)
  4. Social Media (beginning 5/2)

Register Now for Spring Sessions!
