Scholarship for Institutional Advancement Staffer

Peter Crescenti, media relations manager in the Office for Institutional Advancement, attended this month’s SUNYCUAD annual conference in Cooperstown – all expenses paid.

Charlton Scholarship winners, L to R: Anna Loria, Debra Davis, Peter Crescenti, and SUNYCUAD board president Daniel Doyle.

That’s because Crescenti was one of three winners of a Charlton Scholarship, a SUNYCUAD award designed to offer professional development opportunities to new advancement professionals employed at SUNY institutions.  Winners are selected based on an essay about why they want to attend the conference, what they expect to bring back to their institutions, and what they expect to give back to SUNYCUAD.

Other winners were Debra Davis, Monroe Community College, and Anna Loria, College at Brockport.

Also at the SUNYCUAD conference, Sylvia Nicosia and Katy Greene, also of Institutional Advancement, received their Judges Citation for redesigning the website (Sylvia) and the Rambassadors’ social media efforts (Katy with support from Nicole Dose).
