SUNY has created a new program which allows students to apply for internships either where they live or where they attend a SUNY campus, effective spring 2016. It’s called InternShop.
These internships are newly developed so they are not redundant with Farmingdale’s already established internships.

Julianna Campusano Graces, an Architectural and Construction Management Engineering Technology student, and Applied Psychology major Allison Colombo, just returned from Albany where they presented posters at Exploration and Observation: Undergraduate Student Research and Creative Activities Forum.
Julianna presented “Technology in the Education of Renewable Wind Energy,” while Allison offered “Parental Bonding, Anxiety, and Stress: The Impact of Mom versus Dad.”

As many of you know, Maria Cinque loved Farmingdale State College and was dedicated to the Horticulture Program until her untimely passing last fall. She also had a special fondness for roses. For more details, see: fund for the roses final.

Farmingdale has received a $1,000 donation from the International Facility Management Association.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a Long Island resident.
Scholarship funds will be paid in Spring 2016 for the second semester of the student’s academic year, directly to the college and not to the student. The application deadline is March 31. Late applications will not be accepted.
