Three FSC students are heading to Albany this spring, to intern at the offices of the State Senate and Assembly.

Seniors Ryan Reynolds and Dareiny Norman Herrera (also an international student), and junior Kristofer Steven Cutrone, will have  packed schedules but the rewards will be great, not the least of which will be 15 credits earned, valuable career-oriented experience, and a generous stipend. The trio will have an unparalleled opportunity to observe government in action and learn how legislatures operate.

Their duties will be varied, and include research, responding to constituent correspondence, tracking legislation, preparing bill memos, attending and reporting on committee meetings and public hearings, and meeting with lobbyists and special-interest groups.

This applied learning experience has been supported by the Farmingdale College Foundation on an ongoing basis.
