LI Business Hall of Fame Gala Honors Henry Schein

Over 300 guests attended the annual LI Business Hall of Fame Gala at Oheka Castle recently and over $200,000 was raised.

The event, one of the highlights of the business industry social season, honored Henry Schein, the enormously successful global healthcare company located in Melville, and CEO Stanley Bergman. Henry Schein, a distributor of healthcare products and services, is a Fortune World’s Most Admired Company and is ranked number one in its industry for social responsibility. It was founded in Queens in 1932 as a family business and now offers services to 240,000 healthcare practices in 190 countries worldwide.

The Farmingdale Foundation provides support for unfunded initiatives of the College, as well as providing scholarships and grants to students, and financing faculty initiatives.
