3D Club Showcased at LI Tech Day

At last week’s LI Tech Day, Farmingdale State College was the only college / company with a 3D Printer, creating FSC Ram’s Head paper clips to give away to visitors.  This is thanks to Jill O’Sullivan’s 3D Print Club and club president Ben Joselson.

FSC’s 3D Print Club and Half Hollow Hills Community Library have partnered in creating 3D-Printed prosthetic hands for needy children around the world supporting E-Nable, a global network of passionate volunteers using 3D printing to give the world a “helping hand.”  enablingthefuture.org

A big thanks also to staff from the School of Engineering Technology. Hooman Pegahmehr and Daniel Weinman were also helping to get the word out about Farmingdale’s program to the thousands of participants, especially the week of the International Energy Conference.
