Why is Horton Hall Green?

In observance of Veteran’s Day, and as a symbol of appreciation and support towards our students and employees who are military veterans, the exterior lights of Horton Hall have been changed to green.

Greenlight A Vet is a national campaign to establish visible support for our veterans by changing lights to green. Green is the color of hope, renewal and well-being. “

Greenlight is also a term commonly used to activate forward movement. The simple action of changing a light to green is intended to spark a national conversation regarding the recognition of veterans and greenlight them forward as valued members of the FSC community.
