First Place Flying For 3rd Consecutive Year

The FSC National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) team has for the third year in a row captured First Place in the Northeast Regional Competition thus qualifying for the National Championship at Ohio State University in May 2016.

According to Michael Canders, “The great NIFA passion, enthusiasm and leadership of Coaches Dave Gardinier and Vinny Belanger and their team combined with the disciplined flight training philosophy and CFI leadership of Mike Trzaska plus superb maintenance from Zhi Shum and his team and all of the hard working Aviation Center personnel operating under our overarching principle of ‘Safety First’ produced another NIFA Regional Champion.”
