High School students are invited to bring their best work to have their portfolios evaluated by the FSC Visual Communications faculty.  They can learn about art and graphic design career opportunities as well as how to make their portfolio best represent one’s artistic and creative sensibilities.

Access to these active professionals who bring practical knowledge and passion to art is a not-to-be-missed opportunity.

Campus Bookstore will be open 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Faculty badges are being printed and distributed by each of the four Open House Committee school reps:

Staff badges are being handled by Ryan Neary and distributed to each department that has informed him of a need.

Farmingdale unveiled its new online “Expert Center” at the Fair Media Council’s “Connection Day” conference at Briarcliffe College last week.  The conference was attended by editors, reporters, and news producers from throughout the New York metro area.

“Experts Center,” which currently profiles President Keen and 19 FSC deans and professors, will primarily be used to promote campus thought leaders to local, regional, and national print, online, TV, and radio media.

Fundraiser for Golden Key Honor Society – Now through November 13

Golden Key International Honor Society is once again selling Yankee Candles for its annual fundraising event through Friday, November 13.

Pick up a free 35-page booklet filled to the brim with great Yankee Candle products, many of them Thanksgiving or holiday themed and ready for gifting. Profits through this sale benefit GK and allow members to purchase pins or tassels for new inductees and to hold a new member reception each spring.

PCM Alumnus Michael Miller ’12
